If you are a production machine shop or if you just like the best, go with the Electronic Head. These heads deliver full torque throughout the entire speed range via a AC Inverter. The same type used on CNC Machines. This is the way mill heads should have been built long ago. The Electronic Heads feature Digital RPM Display and instant speeds via a electronic dial.
Go with the Hand Crank Variable speed if you just need to save some money.
Go with the step pulley head if you are a hobbyist or if you rarely use the machine.
